Example of recent innovations

A good example is “Cristal Solidarité”, a charity-linked investment solution designed by Societe Generale Private Banking.

Designed to meet growing demand for charity-linked solutions from our clients and staff, Cristal Solidarité is the first structured product by which a private bank donates to a charity for every subscription.

The donation, whose size depends on the total investment, is spread equally between a selection of charities and will finance some of their projects and initiatives.

Questions/Answers

Every structured product implies investing in at least two financial instruments – often a bond and an option.

Open architecture allows Societe Generale Private Banking to choose the best price among a selection of structured product issuers and access a wide variety of products.

What are the risks ?

Given the risks inherent to structured products (markets, credit, liquidity, currencies, rates, volatility, etc.) may result in partial or total loss of the sum invested excluding costs, access to such financial instruments should be limited to investors with significant risk tolerance.
